Stitching for Sisters

July = vacay, beaches, camping, grillin & fun!!

But, I’m obsessed with getting started on my charity stitching project “Stitching for Sisters”  donating crocheted and knitted scarves & hats for the ladies shelter here in White Plains for the December 2011. My goal is 35 sets which means I need to get busy soon!!

Meanwhile Turkey burgers are grillin…

  1. PLEASE teach me how to crochet and/or knit… I’ll love you forever, my hips will love you even more (since I will no longer have my hands free to eat cupcakes), and I’ll also be able to help you make some of those creations to give to charity! ❤

    • Hehehe …oh but those cupcakes! You are an artist so it should not be too difficult as you already have the dexterity.

Becca, if you really want to learn I will send you some info next time I’m on my lappie.

  2. Wow that is a lot of hats and scarfs. I think it is wonderful that you make that for the womens shelter. It must mean so much to them. I hope you had a great 4th of July – I love summer activities, enjoy.

  3. Yes, it sure is a lot Cecily!! I know these items are much needed and appreciated.

We celebrated almost every day of the long weekend and enjoyed seeing several fireworks displays.
